Mimpi

Menanti di ruang tamu bersama abah, abang sepupu mau dtg ambik barang2 untuk kenduri. Bila mereka sampai, dia park depan garaj and turun seseorang yang saya kenal. "Eh, macam mana dia kenal Abang Iskandar ni.." aku bertanya dalam hati. Tapi tiba2 abah menjawab.. "Itu jiran baru si Iskandar..". Terus dia berdiri tegak ja depan pagar..dia tak masuk dalam rumah. Aku jadi nervous. Cepat-cepat naik atas ambik tudung. Nekad hati mau jumpa dia, lama betul tidak jumpa dia. Rindu. Tapi bila aku turun aku tengok mereka dah pun jalan. Aku tak sempat jumpa dia. Betapa hati kecewa masa tu.. Berat, hanya tuhan yang tahu. Dalam kesedihan tu, aku terbangun dari tidur. Walaupun itu semua hanya mimpi, tapi aku dapat rasakan dia dekat dengan ku. Aku sudah redha dia kahwin dengan orang lain. Aku sudah luputkan saya sayang untuknya dihati ku. Tapi, aku rasa itu hanya keinginanku. Sedangkan di minda bawah sedar ku, aku masih mengharap kehadirannya. P/s: Kenapa perlu hadir dalam mimpi kalau sudah tidak sayang...

"SPEECHES THAT CHANGED THE WORLD I bought this book at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on my way back home. At one glance, it captured my interest and of cause being having passion on speeches, I took a gamble to see what it would offer me. Compiled by Simon Sebag Montefiore, historian and international bestselling author, the book shared moving, thought-provoking historic speeches by world great leaders, revolutionalist, etc.. A glance at "government by the people, for the people" phrase by Abraham Lincoln and "a brave man are those who can fight its own fear" of George... took my nerves away, and with no doubt, I bought it (wishing that I would feel the same experience experienced by the audience when the speeches were once delivered). Being a history 'seekers' I would regret myself it I did not bought it. To those history lovers out there, I think this book is a 'must-have' book as what the author is saying that the book may reveal the good provocation and also the worst lied. With that, to those who are wishing to get the book as well, I wish you all a happy reading AND may the book make you fall in love with it as what it has DONE to me... Cheers!!
